This is a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition funded by the UK Atomic Energy Authority. The aim of the competition is to develop solutions to fusion energy challenges in three key priority areas (Scaling of technology, Reliability, Control Precision). The competition has one theme. 

Development of pulsed power for commercial fusion applications.

A total of up to £3.5m inclusive of VAT, is allocated to this competition.

We expect to fund a number of projects. Each project should be delivered by 31st March 2025.

Each project can range in size up to total costs of £300,000, inclusive of VAT.
